We love powering your eBiking Adventure on the Olympic Peninsula.

We offer 2-hour, 3-hour, and full-day* rates that give you the flexibility and time you need to conquer any trail you take on.
eBike rentals include a helmet, first aid kit, bike lock, and toolkit.
*Full-day rentals are 9:00am-4:30pm
All eBikes must be returned by 4:30pm. In summer, sometimes as late as 6pm if not on a transport and we have staff on hand (must set up in advance).
Reserving Your Adventure
eBike Rentals
We recommend booking your eBike rental a minimum of 24hrs in advance of your trip. This gives your party a better chance with availability. We take reservations months in advance for those who prefer to plan ahead for a guaranteed trip!
You can book your rental online or call our office to book over the phone.
We charge a $25 nonrefundable deposit that applies to your rental. Each biker can sign the eBike safety waiver before your rental for a quick check-in.
For next-day rentals, online bookings close at 5:00 p.m. the day before.

We welcome drop-in rentals.
Drop-in’s are subject to availability based on pre-booked rentals.
Please plan to wait at least 30 minutes up to an hour for drop-in rentals.

eBike Transportation: Shop to Trailhead
Some destinations require no transportation, while others are best reached using our scheduled trail transport. Experienced roadway cyclists may also choose to ride to select destinations. Our scheduled trail transport accommodates up to 9 rental e-bikes, making it a great option for individuals, families, and larger groups who want to spend more time riding and less time coordinating vehicles.
How It Works
Arrive at our shop at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure for your bike fitting, safety orientation, and paperwork.
We'll fit your bike, complete a safety orientation, and load the rental bikes onto our transport vehicle.
Follow our transport vehicle in your own vehicle to the trailhead, so your vehicle is waiting for you when your ride is finished.
Enjoy your ride! For scheduled return transports, simply return to the designated trailhead by your scheduled bike retrieval time, where we'll collect the rental bikes.
Please note: Guests normally drive their own vehicle to the trailhead while we transport the rental bikes. Limited passenger transportation may be available by advance arrangement when space allows, including select one-way transport options.

Olympic Hot Springs / Glines Canyon
9:00 AM departure from our shop • 4:30 PM scheduled bike retrieval
Scenic ride with access to Olympic Hot Springs. A short bypass requires walking your bike before continuing on foot.
Olympic Adventure Trail (OAT)
10:00 AM one-way departure from our shop to Lake Crescent
Approximately 26-mile ride back to the Elwha E-Bike Center.
Remote, self-guided route with limited vehicle access. Non-emergency pickups are generally not available.
Spruce Railroad Trail (3-Hour Rental)
10:00 AM departure from our shop • 1:30 PM scheduled bike retrieval
Scenic 14-mile round-trip along the west side of Lake Crescent, swim at Devil's Punchbowl.
Spruce Plus (All-Day Rental)
10:00 AM departure from our shop • 4:00 PM scheduled bike retrieval
Extended time to explore beyond Lake Crescent on the Olympic Discovery Trail.
Olympic Discovery Trail – Port Angeles
Departure times vary - Ride from the shop, or choose a one-way transport from Port Angeles back to the Elwha E-Bike Center. Continue east toward Sequim and the lavender farms.
Available on a case-by-case basis.
Reservations

Same-Day Transport
Same-day transport may occasionally be available depending on staffing and available departure times. Guests must be be able to arrive in time for their bike fitting, safety orientation, and scheduled departure. Please call to check availability.
Missed Bike Retrieval
Please return to the designated trailhead by your scheduled bike retrieval time.
Our driver will wait up to 20 minutes after the scheduled retrieval time. If you miss your retrieval, please call us to arrange an emergency bike retrieval. Emergency retrieval is subject to availability and includes a $50 emergency transport fee, plus any additional rental time charges.
Transport Rates
Our transport service rates cover the extra time and coordination beyond the rental itself, including round-trip driving for drop-off and pick-up, loading, fuel, and scheduling outside normal rental hours. These costs don’t apply if you pick up the bikes yourself.
Note: When we transport for you, the rental time starts at the trailhead—transport time does not count against your ride.

Bike Rack & Tailgate Cover Rentals
Have a truck or van and want to transport the eBike yourself?
This option provides our renter more freedom in their start and end times and trail options.
Bike Rack Rental
We rent out bike racks, including styles which fit up to six ebikes.
These racks ONLY attach to vehicles with either a 1-1/4” or a 2” hitch receiver. They do not “strap” onto vehicles.
Cost: $20/day
Tailgate Cover Rental
We offer bike tailgate covers for trucks. eBikes may be stored in the back of a pickup truck or van in an unstacked, upright, position if desired.
Carries 1-4 bikes.
Cost: $15/day
Age Restrictions & Requirements
Minimum Age & Eligibility:
Primary renter must be 18+.
Riders must be 16 years or older.
Riders aged 14–15 may be approved by exception, if skilled and with approval and after demonstrating safe handling of the bike.
A suggest weight of 100-120 lbs. or ability to handle a 50 lb. bike
Age Restrictions (Under 16):
Riders under 16 are limited to the Spruce Railroad Trail and other designated bike trails.
Road biking is not permitted for riders under 16.
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21+.
Mandatory Orientation & Skills Check:
All riders must complete a skills demonstration before departure:
Balance and Control – Start, stop, and ride steadily without wobbling.
Braking – Use both brakes smoothly without skidding or tipping.
Turning – Make safe, controlled turns.
Mounting & Dismounting – Get on and off independently.
Awareness – Follow basic trail etiquette and respond to instructions.
Crash Avoidance – Show control and obstacle avoidance.
Note: Riders who cannot demonstrate these skills will not be permitted to ride, and a refund may not be issued.
Why? Safety is our #1 priority while providing eBike rentals. Time-tested experience has demonstrated the need for this age minimum requirement.
